Computer Programming compared to Electronics as a career?

Since every company is outsourcing to India should I even bother to study Computer Programming or should I study Electronics.

Computer Programming compared to Electronics as a career?
SUCKS!
Reply:It is totally depends on your interest. Even if you study computer programming and couldn't able to land on a job in Singapore, you can still go and work in India.

But learning electronics and if you are not able to find a job, you can't go and work there in India. Bcoz, computer language is same where ever you goes.
Reply:Not everyone is outsourcing to India.

Computer programming is one of those things that if you are not absolutely dedicated all the time you will fall behind in the dust.

If you love it do it, if not chose something else.
Reply:Depends .. go for what you like the most (or you feel) yourself more confident in... for this see the course contents of both.

Don't go for that computer company's are outsourced thingi ... Just go for what you believe you are best in !.

Hope that helps :)
Reply:I think there are more jobs for programmers that electronic engineers. Personally I like the electronics engineering; partly because you will most likely get some training in programming if the college is any decent and you can always switch over to programming without much trouble.
