A decent first language is C++. Go get a C++ compiler (a program that helps you make programs) and an introductory level book on the subject. It isn't hard if you take one step at a time.
Here is a link to a free C++ compiler for you to play with, made by microsoft. If you look around the MSDN website you'll find lots of resources to help you, though I'd still recommend a book.

Reply:Try python its much easier for begginers becuas you dont have to worry about memory, pointers and garbage collection.
Its very a good starting point becuase it teaches you good habits to use in programing like indenting
