Is your computer programming you?

Meaning your might be pecking away at your keyboard for responses you seek on the pretty colorful screen. As BF Skinner did with lab rats many years ago, you just might be behaving exactly like his lab rats. A very simple stimulus-response behavior. The rats were very, very predictable and could be train to behave i many different ways to get their miniscule reward, not necessarily food. Isn't that what you are really doing? Do you really care or remember what your qustion or answer was a month ago?

Can you get at least a vague image of someone from their accumulated responses? Most important, have you ever felt like one of those lab rats and, again, have you unintentionally been trained by your desk computer?

Is your computer programming you?
It's a thought, however at the moment I'm using it less because there are more important things to deal with and the days go by so fast.

As for getting an impression of somebody - well it's probably as reliable as the impression you get of a movie star by watching the films he's in. Cyber-life is weirdly supernatural, geeks can seem cool and cool people just weird,it can be very misleading.
Reply:Wow! What an interesting thought! I will start watching myself more closely!
