If you have computer programming skills, can you use it when you become a Nurse?

There aren't that many opportunities I can think of for programming in the typical nursing job. However computer skills can come in handy as most hospitals use computer information systems to chart on patients. You might try looking for IT position at a health care technology company such as Phillips.

If you have computer programming skills, can you use it when you become a Nurse?
Sure. You could work for a group that develops computer charting systems like cerner. You could develop the software, sell it or train other nurses to use it.
