I would highly suggest http://www.w3schools.com/ they have step by step lessons on all internet related programming.





Take a look at the Java Script section.... it has all the basically fundamentals of a programming language.

The good thing is you can easily play around without needing any additional software.





The bad thing with Java Script is if you don't do it correctly it will be hard to track down the problem.





Either way... reading over that section will give you a basic overview of a programming language.

Reply:I would take a look at the free windows programming Basic, JUST BASIC a subset of Liberty Basic, at the URL below. You can join a very good user forum and there are on-line question %26amp; answer boards. The many examples included when you download the free version have a Window designer called fformj10.bas that gets nearly any program started and looking good under Windows. Good luck!
