Ok, so I'll say it. Because the world of programming is more suited to men due to an enhanced ability to work out complex problems using a systematic, logical approach to problem solving. Women seem to flourish in an environment that encourages group thinking or acting in such a way as a result of human emotion and feelings. Call me sexist, I don't care.
Why is the world of computer programming dominated by men?
because more men are willing to seek this profession.
Reply:Becoz very less woman are trying for the programming line,,,,,,,,,,, see very few jobs in the world are sex dependent,,,,,,,, even woman can dominate this profession,,,,,,, but very few womans are going for it,,,,,,
Reply:The sane reason there are more women nurses than men, or any other profession dominated by women. It just something to with the way we are hard wired.
Reply:may b , bcoz women dnt look for long term and tiering job, women in general look for easy jobs that dznt need alot of thinking, not all of women of course.
and men love the challenging work, may b, but by the way , i am a programmer.lol
and another point that may make difference, that in IT women seek for analises work but men look foe practical one.
Reply:there are several reasons. to say,recruiters donot believe that women can be flexible with timing and shedule,xtreme programming requires intial investment of several years of time which is not possible for most women.
