Computer engineering or computer programming course?

any thoughts which is better?

Computer engineering or computer programming course?
It completely depends on what type of work that you want to be doing. Also, computer engineering is also a kind of loose word. Some computer engineers are in circuit design, while others go into databases, CAD, system maintenance, and also programming (OS, comp architecture, etc..) etc. The other item is the job outlook. There are many more jobs for computer programming, but there are also a lot more computer programmers so more competition, especially as you get older. The salary is generally slightly lower than most computer engineering jobs as well.

Overall, since you are unsure between the two I would suggest computer engineering because that gives you exposure to many areas including programming, whereas a Comp Sci curriculum will be more focused solely on programming. (BTW, this is true for the US at least, I don't know about other countries)

- Look at the courses in your school for each one, and see which path has more courses that directly interest you.
