How can I transfer a computer program from one to other?

I have a program on one computer that I need to have on a diff. computer, how can I transfer it and still have all information intact?

There are several ways to do this, but the best one depends on how large the program is. If you want to transfer a small program I reccommend attatching it as an email or burning it to a disk. Burning it to a disk is simple if you are on a PC.... simply insert a blank disc , go to My Computer, click CD DRIVE, an option should appear to format the disk and you should do so... then copy and paste the program files to the cd folder. If the program is large I reccommend an ethernet cable transfer, using a flash drive, external hardrive.
Reply:....or you could transfer everything manually with a jump drive or cd. Just drag and drop the install file (the file you clicked when you installed the program in the first place) of the program onto the jump drive (or CD or whatever works for you), and run the install on your other computer.

Reply:You cant! The program would need to be installed just as you installed it the first time! Just copying it aint gonna work. The only thing you can move is files you created!
Reply:Depending on Operating System, you will need a DTC - Data Transfer Cable, and the software to do it, XP Pro has the files transter wizard by default, you still need the cable. Good Luck
